Healthier Nut Butter Fudge Cups

My kids — and if I’m honest, me too — have a serious sweet tooth. After most meals, they’re looking for something sweet, and with teenagers in the house, going cold turkey isn’t always realistic. I wanted to make a snack that satisfies cravings while still packing in healthier fats, some protein, and natural ingredients.
Another big motivation? I wanted something portable, portioned and lunchbox-friendly that could help steer them away from the school cafeteria line, where candy, ice cream, and gummy treats are all too tempting. These Healthier Nut Butter Fudge Cups hit the sweet spot — chocolatey, rich and creamy, and portioned perfectly so they can enjoy a treat without overindulging, while parents can feel good about what’s going into their kids’ lunches.
The best part? They’re easy to make, completely cohesive (no layers or tempering needed), and endlessly customizable. I love adding toasted nuts and flaky sea salt for crunch, freeze-dried raspberries or cherries for a fun tart pop, mini chocolate chips or rainbow sprinkles to make them extra kid-friendly. Whether you keep them simple or play with toppings, these fudge cups are sweet tooth–satisfying little bites of indulgence with a better-for-you twist.
